From the shimmering Northern Lights to the endless snowy forests, this landscape has shaped who I am. But it wasn’t just the beauty of the Arctic that captivated me - it was the sense of peace and connection it brought. I started guiding over 10 years ago, leading snowmobile tours and hosting groups in Levi. Later, I moved to Longyearbyen, Svalbard, where I guided wildlife-watching tours on boats in the summer and snowmobile tours in the winter. Eventually, I began guiding kayaking trips and found my way to expedition ships, and this took me all the way to Antarctica (where I met Sebastian as well..) and then back to Arctic again. For me, Polar Tranquil is more than a travel company - it’s a way to give back to the land that has given me so much. I grew up in Chile, where I worked as an architect before discovering my true calling: guiding. I started leading expeditions in the Chilean fjords, where I fell in love with the wild, remote landscapes. That passion eventually took me to Antarctica, and from there, to the Arctic. Over the years, I’ve explored many corners of this incredible region, from the glaciers of Greenland to the tundras of the Canadian Arctic. I’ve also spent time in Svalbard, guiding travelers through its breathtaking landscapes. But it was in Antarctica that I met Noora, and together, we built a life centered around our shared love for the polar regions. At Polar Tranquil, I’m passionate about designing journeys that go beyond the ordinary.
