Polar Tranquil cabins are located in Leppäniemi - on family land beside the Ounasjoki river and surrounded by forest.
We are far enough from the busiest part of Levi to feel peaceful and removed from the rush, yet close enough to reach Levi centre (20 km) or Kittilä Airport easily when needed.
Being here also means less light pollution → darker skies → better chances to enjoy the northern lights right where you are - without needing to head out on a hunt for them!
Each cabin includes its own sauna, and everything needed for a slow, comfortable stay.
Our surroundings
Over 100 years ago, Noora’s family first settled on this land and built a life here. The land has remained in the family ever since. The cabins were built by her grandpa in the 1980s and he still lives here with us today.
And if you are lucky, you may even get to taste food made by him! He worked as a chef for his entire life and still loves cooking for others.
That is an important part of Polar Tranquil. This is not an anonymous row of rental cabins or a purpose-built resort. It is our home. When you stay here, you are not just booking an accommodation - you are being welcomed into a place that has been lived in, cared for and deeply personal to our family for generations.
